Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy

Adult users and family invitations

You must be at least 18 and be a parent, guardian, or adult invited by a capsule owner. You may add information about a child only when you have the right and appropriate permission to do so. Keep invitation links and account access private. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you create. You give Tiny Treasures a limited license to host, copy, transmit, display, and play that content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the service and the family-sharing choices you make. We do not sell your content, transcribe recordings, or perform voice-biometric analysis.

Private family sharing

Tiny Treasures has no public feed. An author chooses whether a message is shared with the invited family or private for the child and may change that choice later. Treasures of the child’s own voice are family-shared. Removing a contributor permanently deletes that contributor’s messages unread; there is no private-message review step.

Acceptable use and zero tolerance for abuse

You may not use Tiny Treasures to create, upload, send, or encourage:

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. We may investigate reports, restrict or remove content, remove a contributor, suspend or terminate an account, preserve evidence, or notify appropriate authorities when reasonably necessary for safety, law, or these terms. Nothing in the app is an emergency service; contact local emergency services when someone is in immediate danger.

Reporting

Android users can report a shared message or another contributor from the app. Reports send the selected category, optional details, and identifiers needed to investigate; they do not automatically copy private audio, text, or photos into the report. You may also contact safety@tinytreasuresapp.com. Do not submit false or retaliatory reports.

Account deletion

You can delete your account from the app or follow the steps on our account-deletion page. If you own a capsule, account deletion removes that entire capsule and all family content in it. If you are an invited member, it removes your messages and membership; a Treasure of the child’s voice may remain without your attribution. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel a recurring subscription managed by Apple or Google; cancel it in the applicable store.

Purchases

Features and prices may vary by platform and region and will be shown before purchase. Purchases made inside the app, including renewals, cancellations, and refunds, are handled under the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play terms. Invited Android contributors do not need to purchase access in the current Android release.

Gifts bought on this website

A gift bought here is a one-time payment that gives the person you give it to lifetime access. It does not renew, it is never billed again, and the gift code does not expire, so it can be bought long before it is opened. You can give Tiny Treasures as a gift here.

Website purchases are sold by Paddle, our authorised reseller and merchant of record. Paddle handles the payment, the receipt, and any tax, so the charge on your statement will show Paddle’s name, and Paddle’s buyer terms apply to the transaction alongside these. Apple and Google are not involved in a purchase made on this site.

Refunds. If a gift has not been opened yet, we will approve a full refund for 30 days after purchase, for any reason, and you do not need to explain. Paddle issues the refund itself, since Paddle took the payment. If it has already been opened, write to us anyway and we will look at it on its own facts. Our refund policy has the detail.

A gift may be opened by whoever holds the code, so treat it like a gift card: anyone with the code can claim it, it can only be claimed once, and claiming it means signing in so the access lands on an account. Recording for one child is free for everyone, with or without a gift, and family members you invite never pay.

If a payment is refunded or reversed. A gift is access that was paid for, so if the payment is refunded, or reversed by the buyer’s bank as a chargeback, the gift stops being valid. An unclaimed code can no longer be opened, which matters if a printed card has already been handed over, and access already granted to a recipient is withdrawn. We would rather say this plainly here than have someone discover it.

Availability and disclaimers

We work to keep the service reliable, but online storage and delivery cannot be guaranteed uninterrupted or loss-free. Tiny Treasures is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. Keep a separate copy of anything irreplaceable. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will change the date above. Material changes may require renewed acceptance. Questions can be sent to hello@tinytreasuresapp.com.
